I swear I had nothing to do with this

Sometimes it's hard to tell if what they see on the streets really sinks in.

Today the Toddler picked up his Gymboree harmonica (we don't go to Gymboree, honest) and demanded we put money into "his suitcase".

It took a few minutes before we figured out what he was on about.

I just hope this isn't next:

How cute. My parents told me that when we were living in East Berlin (I was about 3 at the time) my grandparents came to visit. I set up a barrier between the kitchen and living room, like Checkpoint Charlie, and everyone had to show their passports in order to go through. :)

that is the cutest busker I have ever seen. I've got a few coins for his "suitcase"!
