In the News: Toddler Gets Big Break

I received this email from my brother-in-law* today, regarding my two-and-a-half year-old nephew who took a tumble down a staircase recently:
Subject: D's first break
Well it finally happened. I hope it’s not a sign of things to come. D took a header down some stairs at daycare and fractured his wrist. But like any growing kid will have his new cast off in two weeks. It’s a buckle fracture on his right hand.
It’s orange and the thing is a total chick magnet. He should have done this earlier (for my sake). He’s doing great and it doesn’t seem to bother him too much. It’ll probably bother G more as he learns to utilize it’s hitting capabilities.
