On geeks and lightsabers

Jason forwarded me this link yesterday, with the subject line:
Subj: The Best Lightsaber Battle I've seen This Year
Have a peek for yourself:
I initially responded in email, but Jason thought I should have made a blog post out of it. And, in the spirit of not letting either my kids or American Idol take over the blog completely, I'm doing just that.
Here's my response:
(*hmm, you'd better click it to make it legible)
So, there you have it folks. By posting this, I have done the following:
a) actually posted on something other than my kids or American Idol (hello google hits!)
b) posted something about Star Wars
c) welcomed lots of Star Wars geeks to my site
d) probably something else, which in turn makes a four-point list, something that in my mind looks better than a three-point list. You tell me.

As a wife of a geek, I can totally appreciate this post.
Jessica: you forgot to include "disproportionately hot" when referring to your wife-ness.
as a newfound fan of battlestar galactica, and old-school SW geek, i also appreciate this. i will be unleashing this to the programmers later on (*after* they have done some real work. like me).
Well you can always blog on mine for your AI recaps, to keep the hecklers at bay. :)
You crack me up, Mike...
I notice that he didn't say the "...but the disproportionately hot Jason thought I should have made a blog post out of it."
I'm very hurt, Mike. Very hurt indeed.
Jason, Jason, Jason....do we really want to get into all the things about you that are disproportionate?
Ah.
No.
